DR. ARI AALTONEN
Ari is the strategic CFO for LGR Global and the Silk Road Coin. Ari has strong banking, financial services, and manufacturing industry experience and has worked in senior manager positions at Capgemini, Cognizant & Oracle, as well as in CFO, CEO and chairman positions in several start-ups.
During his career he has been delivering both organic and acquisition growth with focus on increasing shareholder value. Ari specializes in strategy, finance and digital technology, building and leading A-class teams, managing financial planning, forecasting, capital management, fund-raising, go-to-market, digital transformation and performance management.
He has extensive C-level and board-level relationships across Europe.

Tawanda has over 20 years’ Global experience across Investment Banking covering Venture Capital, International Trade Finance (Metals, Oil & Gas, TMT and Industrials) Private Equity (Primaries, Secondaries and Co-investments), Structured and Project Finance, M&A, Corporate Advisory Funds and Asset management expertise on the buy and sell side.
He has raised over $5 billion in assets for alternative investments including private equity, private/ opportunistic credit and hedge funds. His experience includes leading a syndicate of venture investors into a select group of global companies with strong technology underpinnings, highly differentiated offerings, and validation from sophisticated buyers.
Tawanda enjoys the benefit of a huge global network across venture capital, Investment banking, entrepreneurs and enterprise, from which he has applied a selective criterion for principal investments, as an Angel and Corporate investor (until recently partner at Meridian Asset Management a firm he co-founded with over 1.5B Assets under Management).
Tawanda started his career with JP Morgan in London before moving into Transaction and Deal Advisory in London, Singapore & New York. Tawanda has worked as Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking and Private Equity for Global Investment banks like Lehman Brothers, Barclays Capital, Chase Capital Partners, JPMorgan Cazenove, First Capital and SF Investments (KKR) covering Energy & Resources, Infrastructure, Industrials, Agriculture, Tourism, Transport & Logistics, Financial Services, Power & Utilities.
Prior to joining MP Capital, Tawanda was Head of Investment Risk ASX listed IOOF group with $152.6B FUA. Tawanda has worked across all continents and is fluent in 5 languages.
Tawanda has in recent years taken up advisory work within the Fintech industry covering Global Payments, Ai, and Blockchain technologies. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (UK) and CA Australia, holding an MBA and degrees from Oxford university and Imperial College.

Stefano leads the technology team and oversees the design and development of the LGR Global platform and the Silk Road Coin.
A technology manager with 20 years of experience in enterprise software solutions, Stefano is an author, public speaker, and an ambassador for beautiful and functional software.
His interests extend to blockchain, IoT and A.I.-related technologies. Stefano is highlighted as one of the world’s top 160 technology visionaries and is an active Microsoft Regional Director. He holds a Bachelor of Science, with a focus on Information Technology from the University of Provident and Global MBA from the London School of Business and Finance.
Rob is an experienced business architect having held chief architect positions within an international Financial Service company and a UK public sector organisation.
He owns a consultancy business in the UK delivering architecture and transformation services to a range of clients which has included Visa Europe where he was Lead Business Architect for the Digital Business unit.
He has also been Head of Enterprise Architecture consulting for a global system integrator and has developed the business and technical architecture for a number of start-up organisations across a range of financial services sectors.
Etienne has more than 18 years of experience in financial services as a lawyer, consultant and compliance specialist.
He has worked for law firms, investment banks, brokerage firms and Fintechs in Canada, France and the UK. He is currently European head of Regulatory Compliance at one of Europe’s leading banks.
Etienne holds a master’s degree from UCLA and civil and common law degrees from McGill University.
Owen is a creative and dynamic marketing and business development executive with years of experience in the technology and blockchain sectors.
He works passionately to demystify and promote new technologies and disruptive DLT solutions.

Malcolm is a financial economist with over 25 years of experience in consulting, research, and teaching. His consulting work spans merger and acquisition analysis and structuring, negotiation of private debt and equity placements, and valuation of privately-held debt and equity interests. Since 2010, he has been involved in international capital markets advisory services with clients based in Brazil, the USA, and Asia where he advises on the effects of economic factors on profits and asset prices, risk pricing, and valuations of private market assets and transactions.
Dr. McLelland’s research generally involves topics relating to international capital markets, asset pricing theory, financial reporting, and valuation in private capital markets. He is the author of the book International Cost of Capital Estimation: Methods Based on Modern Asset Pricing Theory and his research has been published in Business Valuation Review, Review of Accounting & Finance, Managerial Finance, and on the Social Science Research Network. Dr. McLelland has held a variety of academic appointments including positions at Michigan State University, University of Illinois at Chicago, Purdue University, Indiana University, and Stuttgart Institute of Management and Technology.

With an acumen for bridging the gap between business requirements (what non-technical users need) and technical solutions can diagnose and propose technical and re-engineering solutions within an effective and practical path due to an extensive understanding and exposure of the process flows of the financial sector activities, its regulatory challenges and the need to ensure the internal monetization of data through operational efficiency, fraud detection, risk management and customer relationship management.
Proficient in data mining and the aggregation and dis-aggregation of data, Cynthia brings her ability to propose conceptual data models to support the decision processes.
Emerging from a transactional centric environment, has spent the last few years in the research of the distributed ledger, which resulted in the presentation and publication of an idea at Saner 2020, and is at present the blockchain strategist for a warehousing start-up.
